Urea Phosphate

Urea Phosphate

Urea Phosphate (UP) is a fully water-soluble, acidic fertilizer providing 17% nitrogen (N) (as urea) and 44% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅). It combines the high nutrient concentration of urea and phosphoric acid in a crystalline form that is ideal for fertigation, drip irrigation, and as a raw material in liquid and solid NPK formulations.

Thanks to its low pH, Urea Phosphate is especially effective in hard water and calcareous soils, where it helps prevent clogging and increases phosphorus availability.

Key Features:

  • 100% water-soluble crystalline fertilizer
  • 17% nitrogen (N) + 44% phosphorus (P₂O₅)
  • Strongly acidifying – lowers solution pH to ~1.6 (1% solution)
  • Prevents emitter clogging and mineral deposits in drip irrigation
  • Enhances P availability in alkaline soils
  • Combines well with calcium and magnesium in 2-tank systems

Recommended Applications:

  • Fertigation and hydroponics (especially with hard water)
  • Root zone acidification in high pH soils
  • Phosphorus and N supplementation during early growth stages
  • Raw material in acid-based liquid fertilizers and NPK blends
